10:41 pm	Today... was pretty awesome. ultimate frisbee at Detweiler with Rachel, Jeremy, Gavin and a bunch of other kids that I didnt know. They made Rachel and I team captains since we were the last to show up. My team won 10-2 or 3. (i scored about 2 of those points too! which is a lot more than I thought I would score) I didn't realize that I could actually play ultimate frisbee. a certain someone was there too, unfortunately. I was told that he glared at me a lot, but I was too busy having a good time to notice. after that, Rachel, Bostic, Ian, Scott and I went swimming for about an hour and a half at his pool. Now I'm home relaxing and reminicing about the awesome day that I had. badass. (2 Comments |Comment on this)

11:11 am	I Left My Heart In Colorado So, I just spent the majority of last week camping in the Rocky Mountains with 3 friends of mine. I had never been to Colorado before, but I had always wanted to go. I couldn't believe how beautiful the scenery was. I mean, you see stuff like that in pictures anywhere, but it doesn't even compare to seeing it with your own eyes. I had the time of my life. I almost didn't want to come home. At one point, I was seriously considering telling Scott, Ethan and Joey to just go home without me. Obviously, I didn't actually go through with that, since I'm sitting in my kitchen typing this right now. I hope to have some pictures up on Myspace soon. I got a lot of really good ones and a lot of dumb ones too. One thing is for sure, I will one day live in Colorado, hopefully in the Boulder area or somewhere close to it. Maybe even Estes Park. 9:18 pm	Its been a while, hasn't it? So....what's happened since last september that'd be worth writing about? Excuse me if the events are all jubmled up. I've been practicing my drums every day unlike my former once a week. Thats been happening for a while. I like music a lot. yeah. Apparently, I was diagnosed w/ ADD when I was about 4 or 5, and had to take ridlin for a while. Then they took me off of it and said that I would eventually "grow out of it". Well, that obviously didnt happen, cause I read a pamphlet and I still have all but 2 of the symptoms. So not only do I still have ADD, but the doctor put me back on Ridlin as well. How sweet is that, right? Band practice in Elmwood a lot, We've been working on 2 origional songs thus far. We've got the music, but are now working on lyrics. OH YEAH! THIS NEXT THING SUCKS SOOOOO MUCH! My band was scheduled to play our first show on January 18th, we got all pumped and excited for it, adn then it was FREAKIN CANCELLED because EVERY SINGLE BAND but us BACKED OUT!!!! 11:48 pm	Yeah... I wonder why my updates are allways like...years apart? oh well. WE got completley screwed at Washington, but since everyone else has allready said stuff about it, I will end that subject there. Metamora, on the other hand, we did pretty good. I found it Ironic that at Washington, we were all being tough and crap like "this band sucks" or "They're waaaay offbeat" and then we got owned by them. But at Metamora, we were all like, " we sucked horribly" and then we won a buncha stuff, including Best Percussoion at Parade (brushes dirt of shoulders) Im pretty sure my drum is the biggest one i've seen soo far. Yeah, I'm awesome like that. I guess we got a lot of good comments about the play. It was fun to do. I got to see a bunch of people that I havent seen in a while, it was pretty sweet. I saw Nichole for like, 2.5 seconds and then she left w/ her boyfriend. At least she came to see the play. I also noticed that her boyfriend glared at me when I hugged her. oh well. I made josh look stupid the other night at the Cast Party. Which was sweet cause he usually makes me look stupid. Sorry Josh, but it was pretty funny. So....dont got much else really. 10:58 pm	Well, Well..... So, I havent updated in quite some time cause, lets face it, im a little lazy. Don't remember a whole lot of stuff (big surprise there) but I do remember the past couple of days or so. So, the band that I play with on thursday nights was supposed to play at a "bonefire" in Elmwood on the 7th, but because of the strike, the play was moved to the 7th and now I wont be able to go. For some reason, I find myself unable to wake up when I want to...maybe I should go to bed earlier....psh...yeah right. Everyone should come see the play on the 7th and 8th, its gonna be super awesomeness and its really funny too. Speaking of the play, I broke the stairs on the set due to either the total crappiness and poor craftsmenship of them, or because im a fatty mc fat fat. oh well. a bunch of people got together last night to play kickball. The girls were cheating so the guys started cheating right back and then we won. Then people just started throwing the ball at each other. Then I started to "knee-tackle" or whatever you'd call it then everyone was doing it...because im awesome. Trista totally owned Ryan...it was sweet. So...today, I was helping a girl I know from elmwood and her family move to their new house. We were taking a break and pulled out a wallet-sized school photo of me from my Freshman year. When asked where she found it, she said she found it inside a picture frame at Wally-World (Wal-Mart for you less intelligable types) It was nuts. 10:35 pm	Well, Hot Dawg! So, School started about a week ago. My 18th birthday was 2 weeks ago and I still havent celebrated in any way. 1st- Band 2nd- Art 3rd- English 4th- Music Appreciation 5th- lunch 6th- Adult Living 7th- P.E. 8th- Geometry I'm still pondering on whether i should drop P.E. for Jazz Band. I make car alarms go off every morning during band. Yes, I rock THAT hard. I woke up around 1 with a really bad calf cramp (those of you who have seen my calves might understand why they hurt soo bad) First Early band practice this morning. I am absolutley NOT in ANY way a morning person. I hate waking up early. I hate it soo much. Cinti wakes up at 5 every morning. How does she do it? So...Chelsea left today, I'm pretty bummed out about that. She said she might come back for Homecomming. That'd be sweet, but who know's what'll happen? ................I miss her allready. On a lighter note, Reliant K is freakin' awesome. Its amazing how a band can be that sweet and be christian at that same time, cause, lets face it. Most christian bands just arent all that sweet. I mean, a lot are good, but not as many are sweet. Here are some other sweet christian bands: Pillar, Five Iron Frenzy (DUH), Roper, Skillet, MXPX. 9:12 pm	Mr. Hornsby is awesome! Today during drumline sectionals, we were practicing our Drum Feature and Mr. Hornsby wasnt very pleased with the fact that some people werent controlling their sticks. So...instead of getting mad (like most people would) He got into a very deep/philiphical speech about how drumming is like the Force. Yes...you read right...the Force. Basically the speech compared the drumming to the Force in the way that The Dark Side of drumming is when you always play very very loud and have absolutley no control of the sticks..."Its tempting, easy, and makes you feel powerful, but once you go down the path, it will forever consume your mind" were his near to exact words. THen he went on about how the Light Side of drumming is when no matter how excited you are, you always have control over your sticks. Not only did he make this speech...but he even quoted Yoda on several occasions. As hew was saying all of this, you could tell by the look on some of the peoplses faces they were thinking "GUUUH! I HATE StarWars!" or "This is soooooo stupid!" Ben and Ethan looked halfway interested. I was just trying very hard not to laugh. Not like i thought he was stupid or i was making fun of him...I just couldnt beleive that he was making this speech. The entire time I just kept thinking, "OMG, Mr. Hornsy is awesome! THEN: After the speech, we played the song again and we apparently did better cause he replied "The Force was strong with that one" (2 Comments |Comment on this)

1:21 am	A Recap of the last few days MONDAY: Band practice at Bostic's. Wrote a song, came up with a name for the band (Chump Change) Morgan took sweet pics. Check out our band pic on Bostic's Myspace. TUESDAY: Band camp SUCKED. Not only did I constantly get lost in the music, triped over Ian's tuba case and felt like a complete ayusshole...but i was 3 hours late! Band practice at bostic's again, then to Guitar Center. I love GUitar Center. WEDNSDAY: Got my band uniform on the first try. Band practice in Taylor's Garage. Messed up a LOT. Random guy lives behind taylor and offers me a bunch of good drum stuff for really cheap and/or free. 2 weeks and he'll call us back. THURSDAY: Band camp again, much better. Good weather, didnt mess up soo much. cant remenber anything else. FRIDAY: talked to morgan, watched the kids, went to jareds, watched the kids,...the end. 11:30 pm	Fo shizzle ma nizzle So...Today was my first day of work. Fun stuff. I worked from 12 till 5. 1 1/2 hours were spent outside picking up random bits of garbage out of the grass. Otherwise, All I do is Bag groceries, Get the carts from outside, and Smile. Half of my job is to be nice to everybody..and we all know how bad I suck at being nice ;) Most of my summer time revolves around either sitting on the computer, or hanging out w/ Bostic and/or Jared. I need to start visiting my "not soo often seen" friends...which is basically everyone who doesnt live within 12 yards of me. Star Wars: Episode III Was quite possibly the sweetest movie I've ever seen (with Boondock Saints at a close second of course) Mafia is funny...but not near as sweet as those two movies. My Desktop is a picture of a Swastik being broken by a Ninja with the words "Anti Racist Action" around the ninja. Its sweet. So...I had the first real conversation with my Biological Father in like...3 years, and what was it about? Star Wars of course! Sad thing is...he had more to say than I did.
